How to utilize Instagram to bring in new clientele.

There used to be a direct correlation between follower count and the overall profitability of the business. The more followers a Practice had, the more successful they were. Over the past few years, Instagram has become more and more saturated. You can now buy followers, likes, views and comments; which we highly discourage.

With this Social Media evolution we have seen that patients care less and less about followers and more about the relatability of the team, the aesthetic of the practice, the knowledge of the provider and obviously their work.

So now you know what to post, how does that translate into revenue? In short, it doesn’t. Outreach is the name of the game and its quite an elaborate process, but it is an absolute game changer that will give you a competitive advantage.

Here is the strategy:

  1. Prior to posting, identify and follow at least 5 local businesses. These are not other Med Spas or businesses that you share services with, but businesses that have aligned clientele. This would be private gyms (that cost more than $200 a month), yoga studios, hair salons, colourists, personal trainers, high-end boutiques, real estate and so on.
  2. You will then post (preferably a reel), my recommendations would be early in the morning, over lunch or in the evening after dinner.
  3. After you post, you will go into each of these businesses’ followers or who they are following and begin to interact (comment and like) on their posts. I typically choose about 20 people per business.
  4. After you interact with these prospective new customers, you should start to receive interactions back! Once someone interacts with you, its GAMETIME!
  5. You will send them a direct message with your new patient special, promotion, or event invite.

  1. The goal is to gather their information, enter it into a patient leads list and get them in for a consultation.
